My mother-in-law, Patty Farmer(shown in picture holding baby) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about two months ago. She went in for surgery last Thursday, and suddenly took a turn for the worse, this afternoon. That is all I know. My wife called me from work to tell me an hour ago. I could hear the fear in her voice. It really bothered me. I turned to prayer, and immediately thought of my brothers here. It has been awhile since I have been around these parts, posting or otherwise. I didn’t hesitate in the least.
Join me in prayer for my family, and most importantly, my mother-in-law, Patty.

God, I ask that you, in a way that only you can do, would comfort, strengthen, calm, and direct the Farmer family in this time of struggle. I don’t understand your purpose, God, not at all. I don’t claim that I see the big picture. But God, we trust YOU. You can give grace, you can give healing, and you can give peace. I ask you for healing, because I love these, my brothers and sisters in Christ. In Christ’s name, Amen.
Just letting you know Im praying buddy
In the midst of the business of life, I just remembered that this post needed an update. Last Thursday, Patty came home.
The events that led up to that day are numerous. Without being too judgemental here, I’ll just say this: The health system in this country is just about broken. Nobody is communicating correctly. Ineptness seems to be the rule.
When you couple all those potential hazzards with the fact that the patients have begun to run the hospitals, along with their families, I’m left with one comment for now.
Jesus Christ For President
P.S. Thanks for all your prayers.
