Driscoll on Humility

If you read that title and laughed out loud, I am sure you’re not the first to do so. Those that are familiar with Mark Driscoll would generally not link those two things together. However, I post this because of what he says. I am humbled by seeing a man of Christ, a shepherd of a church, a leader and a voice stand before his congregation and admit his failure. What captures me about this clip is the strength of a man to admit his short falls. Seeing it reminded me that I too need to be better about admitting where God is speaking into my life. Those places where he is stretching and growing me. Oh if our churches would be full of men that could admit their weaknesses, recognize where God is refining them and grow from the experiences. Lord start with me…..
