Denver and the Mile High Orchestra is competing on the new show “The Next Great American Band”. Denver is a Christian big band. The first concert that I ever went to was a Denver concert and I have seen them play 2 other times. They’re a great band and they have such a great show. It is cool to see a Christian band on a show like this. I heard that they were on the show last week and I saw them perform on the show yesterday. I hope that other people will see that Christian music can be great too! They sounded really good and I hope that they win.

Denver is my wife’s cousin, so we’re a little biased. When John R. asked them 2 weeks ago why they didn’t play the Stones song “Bitch”, Sheila E. got on his case. I wish Denver or someone in the band would have had the time to give a good answer. We had to miss this week’s show, but I understand that Sheila E. asked them if it was difficult choosing songs/lyrics because of their faith! By the way, you really haven’t seen how good the band is until you see them live, especially one of their incredible Christmas concerts.
