Girly-man Song Confessional

hans_franz.jpg Ok guys…just to lighten things up a little bit. Let’s play “Girly-man Song Confessional”.

Name two or three songs you like, but would never admit to your tailgating buddies.

I’ll start.

  • “Beth” by Kiss
  • “Theme From a Summer Place” by The Percy Faith Orchestra.

    • “Summer Place” reminds me of when I was a little boy riding in the car with my parents; not to mention, it’s just a beautiful piece of music. That’s right…I said it.

    Oh yeah…there are more…

      David – only here could you claim that. Man we are cut from the same cloth. I have never been a fan of Kiss. Just never made the connection. However, “Beth” is a song that is just awesome. I actually used that in a post over a year ago http://armswideopen.net/2006/06/08/wild-boys/

      I really have no clue why I have always liked that song, but no doubt about it, “Beth” is a favorite of mine as well.

      I will just paint the rest with the broad brush of saying that my iPod has Barry Manillo, Neil Diamond and Air Supply in it too….

      Carrie Underwood’s entire debut album is literally one of the best I own. It is just awesome (lyrically speaking).
