Defining College Football…

Well, the NBA draft is over, no more hockey, soccer continues to rock, BUT college football is beginning to be topics of some water cooler conversations. It visiting the ESPN website today, they did a neat thing. They have scoured the history books of college football and have come up with The 100: The Moments That Have Defined College Football. There are definitely some defining moments here for sure. Some we Buckeyes would like to forget (see #21). Anyway, the list is long, but can you name anymore defining college football moments?  Do you agree with their top 10?

  1. Being that my college team of choice pretty well stinks at football, believe it or not, I don’t watch it close enough to know about the top 10. The Southern Cal play and Desmond Howards pose in the end zone are about the only 2 I know since they are shown all of the time.

  2. College football is another fraudulent business based upo:

    1) steroids, amphetamines and cortisone
    2) fake students who are exploited to benefit their school
    3) TV media lies
    4) corrupt coaches and doper trainers
    5) dishonest Athletic Directors who turn a blind eye
    6) dishonest trustees who demand TV money and a good show
    7) dishonest alumni who do not care about people–only winning.
    8) violence
    9) long-term health problems
    10) feeding the NFL and acting as a FREE farm system fo Roger Goodell

BOYCOTT college football. It is a WWE steroid mess too.
