Life is Short…Get a Divorce?

An all-female law firm is turning heads in Chicago with a new billboard and a blunt message:

“Life’s Short. Get a Divorce.”

This billboard is causing quite a ruckus today in the news and with the local yokels. When I read this I wasn’t surprised. This is the day in age that we live. If you turn on the tv to any family show what do you see? You see an emasculated husband and father, a wife who makes him do what she wants and acts like the man, and the man acting like a woman. Now I am all for powerful women. My wife is a very strong minded and work oriented, but she is still a woman. I am a stay at home dad who works from home, but I am still a man. The feminist movement went a little too far and made woman feel like they don’t need a man and in turn the man says I don’t need her either.
Then ads like this pop up. The only reason for the images there is because it’s basically saying “Sex not so hot?…no big deal…find somebody else”. I don’t know where your at, but my marraige needs work everyday. Is sex perfect? no is work perfect? no is communication perfect? no etc etc. But God gave my my wife and he united us together. We made vows for a reason. The truth comes down to this. A 3 strand cord isn’t easily broken, but a two strand cords seems breakable if the sex isn’t that great.
